Before joining Olshan, Lee served as Senior Vice President - Business Affairs, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Michael Kors Holdings Limited. Before that, he served in the same capacity at Kasper A.S.L., Ltd. He also spent more than 11 years at Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation, including as Vice President of Intellectual Property and Associate General Counsel. Lee was instrumental in guiding both Michael Kors and Polo Ralph Lauren through IPOs and transforming them into publicly traded companies and two of the world's most successful fashion brands. He brings that experience and skill to bear in helping Olshan clients build their businesses and achieve their full potential.
Lee’s industry leadership extends to academia. He has been Professor from Practice at Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School and helped create the law school’s unique Fashion, Arts, Media & Entertainment Law Center. He has also been a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and an Adjunct Profession of Law at Villanova Law School. A contributing author of The Business and Law of Fashion and Retail and Fashion Law, A Guide for Designers, Fashion Executives & Attorneys, he was also co-editor of Trademark Counterfeiting and served as Chairman of the International Anticounterfeiting Coalition for more than a decade. Featured in a host of leading national, regional, and trade publications, Lee continues to be a sought-after lecturer on a variety of IP and fashion/luxury law topics.
