Activist Practice Negotiates 2 Board Seats for Baker Street Capital at Xyratex

The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, and other media reported on the successful negotiation of a settlement by Olshan client, Baker Street Capital, with Bermuda-based leading provider of data storage technology, Xyratex Ltd. Under the agreement, Baker Street Capital’s principal, Vadim Perelman, and Kenneth Traub will join the Board of Directors of Xyratex.  Baker Street Capital is Xyratex’s largest shareholder with a 22.9% stake. Steve Wolosky, Camielle Green and Meagan M. Reda represented Baker Street Capital in connection with its investment and the settlement negotiation.
