Olshan Wins Two Turnaround Atlas Awards

The Global M&A Network and M&A Advisor recognized Olshan’s Business Restructuring and Distressed Real Estate practices for their work on recent high-profile turnaround matters at the 14^th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards ceremony on July 21. The firm was named in the Chapter 11 Restructuring of the Year (Large) category for its work on the Washington Prime Group reorganization. Olshan, along with Miller Buckfire and Stifel, represented the ad hoc committee of preferred shareholders and the team included: Restructuring: Adam Friedman and Jonathan Koevary; and Litigation: Lori Marks-Esterman and Adrienne Ward. Olshan was also recognized in the Special Situation M&A Deal of the Year (Value Range: above $500 - $750 million) category serving as legal advisors to Atlas Capital Group on the acquisition of The Denizen from All Year Holdings. The team included: Real Estate: Eric Goldberg and Yael Mandel; and Restructuring : Adam Friedman and Jonathan Koevary. The Turnaround Atlas Awards recognize the leading distressed transactions, restructurings and refinancing as well as firms and professionals from the global restructuring, insolvency and distressed investing communities in the United States and international markets.
