Olshan Lawyers’ Pro Bono Restaurant Project
The New York Times, The New Yorker, Eater and CBS recently featured Olshan client Greg Baxtrom, chef and co-owner of Olmsted, the Brooklyn restaurant, and his efforts to manage the restaurant’s operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the article mentions the project at his other Brooklyn, Maison Yaki, which he and his business partner have creatively turned into a showcase until the end of the year or longer where Black chefs/food entrepreneurs feature their unique cuisines for two weeks at a time, at no charge. Partners Jeremy King and Kenneth Silverman and associate Nicholas Hirst represented our clients pro bono in connection with this project.
