Federal Decision Notes Efficiency of Olshan Litigation Team

The Southern District of New York’s recent decision in Iroquois Master Fund, LTD. v. Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. rejected Quantum’s challenge to the fee award in the matter, noting that “there is no basis whatever for any reduction in the proposed fee award for the services of Olshan, let alone a 20% reduction. This case was litigated efficiently and at far less cost than I might have expected. The Olshan fee request is entirely reasonable.” The fee award came after the Olshan team prevailed at trial.
