Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance Publishes Article on the SEC Adopting Amendments to Permit the Use of Electronic Signatures

Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance, the top online resource for discourse on corporate governance, recently published an article authored by Corporate partner Kenneth Silverman and law clerk Zachary Freedman. The article “SEC Adopts Amendments to Permit the Use of Electronic Signatures” discusses the Securities and Exchange Commission’s decision to adopt amendments to Rule 302(b) of Regulation S-T that will permit a signatory to an electronic filing to sign a signature page or other document with an electronic signature. This amendment provides flexibility when signing the appropriate documents included in the authentication process.
