Olshan Client Kanen Wealth Management Reaches Successful Agreement for Board Representation at Aqua Metals

A press release on May 2, 2018 announced that client Kanen Wealth Management has successfully reached an agreement with Aqua Metals, Inc. to strengthen the company’s Board of Directors and Management Team. Two new independent directors recommended by Kanen, Sushil (“Sam”) Kapoor and S. Shariq Yosufzai, have been appointed to the Board of Directors, with Mr. Yosufzai appointed as Non-Executive Chairman and lead independent director. The agreement also calls for Steve Cotton, the Company's former Chief Commercial Officer, to rejoin Aqua Metals as its new  President. Messrs. Yosufzai and Kapoor will serve alongside two incumbent directors on the CEO Search Committee.  Andrew Freedman advised Kanen on its nominations, proxy contest and ultimate settlement agreement with Aqua Metals.
