Law360 Highlights Success of Olshan Activist Client Starboard Value

One of Olshan’s most notable activist clients, Starboard Value, was highlighted in a Law360 story as “gunning for top Activist billing in 2015” after having a highly successful past year and with some high level campaigns on the horizon for 2015. The story features a number of activist campaigns on which Olshan is advising, including Starboard Value’s campaigns at Yahoo!, Staples and MeadWestvaco Corp. The piece notes Starboard Value’s “rare complete victory” in replacing the entire board of directors at Darden and goes on to mention how they are pressing on to bring together Staples Inc. and Office Depot in a merger.
