Olshan Advises Client Starboard on Its Agreement with Fortrea for Board Changes

Olshan client Starboard Value LP reached an agreement with Fortrea Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: FTRE), pursuant to which Fortrea will appoint Erin L. Russell to the board. Under the agreement, Starboard also has the right to appoint a representative to the board in certain circumstances beginning in August 2025. Olshan Co-Managing Partner and Chair of the firm’s Shareholder Activism Practice Andrew Freedman, Shareholder Activism partner Meagan Reda, and associates Mark Kiley and Joseph Del Vicario represented Starboard Value LP in this matter.
