Olshan Announces Rebranding

NEW YORK, June 14, 2012 – Olshan Grundman Frome Rosenzweig & Wolosky LLP announced that effective June 15, 2012 the firm will be known as Olshan.

“Olshan reflects how the marketplace increasingly refers to us,” said partner Steve Wolosky. “By embracing that name we are harnessing a powerful brand that is synonymous with excellence in legal counsel for major businesses, entrepreneurs and hedge funds.”

In addition to a new focus on a single brand name, the firm’s legal name will change to Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP. Neil Grundman retired in 2003. Victor M. Rosenzweig is retired and remains a positive contributor to the firm in an Of Counsel role. “The change in our name will not diminish their contribution to the firm,” partner Robert L. Frome said.

The decision to refine our name and place new emphasis on the brand is designed to make the firm name easier to use and more memorable in an increasingly competitive marketplace. “Our goal is to put forth a clearly defined, universally understood brand name,” said Frome. “Our dedication to client service, client relationships and sophisticated legal advice will not change.”

Olshan has 80 lawyers and was recently named to The National Law Journal’s “2012 Midsize Hot List”.
