Wolosky Comments on Recent Trend in Activism – Teaming Up
The Deal Pipeline (subscription required) published an article illustrating how activist funds with similar goals are starting to team up against target corporations. Some of the advantages to teaming up are greater credibility, alleviation of the high cost of campaigns and higher returns. But issues of philosophy, style and differing stakes may get in the way.
