Spencer Feldman Joins Olshan’s Corporate/Securities Law Practice

Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP is pleased to announce that Spencer G. Feldman has joined the firm as a member of the Corporate/Securities Law Practice.

Mr. Feldman joins Olshan from Greenberg Traurig where he was a partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice.  An attorney for more than 25 years, he concentrates his practice in the areas of initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, shelf takedowns, registered directs, PIPEs and other private financings, rights offerings, reverse public offerings, and mergers & acquisitions with an emphasis on representing computer, Internet, media, life sciences and other technology-driven companies, and the banks, financial institutions and other institutional investors which provide capital to these companies.

Mr. Feldman has served as counsel to a number of emerging technology business ventures, including companies involved in digital advertising, social media sponsorships, advanced lighting technologies, Internet-based delinquent bank debt resolution, point-of-sale computer manufacturing, facial animation software, and biopharmaceutical vaccines and diagnostics, as well as institutional lenders.  He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Commercial Biotechnology, a leading international publication for bioscience business professionals, and a member of the Lexis-Nexis@Securities Customer Advisory Board.

Mr. Feldman was selected for inclusion in the 2013 New York Metro edition of Super Lawyers for Securities & Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisition and has written over 40 articles and has lectured extensively on corporate and securities law issues, including serving as a moderator at the SEC’s Small Business Capital Formation Forum.  He received his J.D. magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where he was the senior editor of the Buffalo Law Review and recipient of the Laidlaw Award for excellence in all areas of business law.  He received his B.A. cum laude with honors in Economics from Brandeis University.
