Times Features New Kaufman Astoria Studios Back Lot Handled by Kearns

The New York Times reported that Kaufman Astoria Studios has entered into a lease with New York City Economic Development Corporation to control 36th Street between 34th and 35th Avenues in Queens until 2049. The Studios will turn the street into a back lot to use as an alternative to location filming. Olshan partner Tom Kearns represented the Studios in the creation of the back lot, including the long term lease.
