Wolosky Quoted in Law360 Article, "Strine’s SandRidge Ruling Hands Activist Investors New Tool"

Steve Wolosky was quoted as a proxy fight expert in an article published by Law360 (subscription required), which discusses a recent ruling by Delaware Chancellor Leo Strine in a class action suit in connection with the ongoing proxy battle between SandRidge Energy Inc. and TPG-Axon Capital Management.  Wolosky states in the article, “Judge Strine's decision… will be very helpful to activists in situations where companies have used threat of debt acceleration to avoid engaging.”  “There are so many of these fights out there, more than I've seen in any year I've been doing this,” Wolosky said. “I think the [SandRidge] ruling has the potential to change the landscape.”  Wolosky does not represent either of the parties in the SandRidge proxy contest.
