Kerrin Klein Featured in The Legal Intelligencer Women’s History Month Spotlight on Speaking Up and Taking Risks

Olshan litigation partner Kerrin Klein was featured in an article in The Legal Intelligencer (subscription required) entitled “Women's History Month Spotlight: 'Speak Up and Take Risks.'” In the article, Kerrin discussed Olshan’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, for which she serves as vice chair, as well as the firm’s Women’s Committee. Kerrin explained that Olshan celebrates Women’s History Month in many ways, including hosting unique events and panel discussions, as well as always seeking new opportunities to support other female attorneys. “I have served as a mentor for junior attorneys and summer associates at my firm,” Kerrin said. “I also have strived to maintain close relationships with other women lawyers, both at my firm and outside, including with younger attorneys.” She added a key piece of advice for any young female attorney just starting out: Speak up and take risks. Not only will this ensure your voice is heard, but it provides a way to forge stronger professional relationships: “You are not expected to know everything right away, but your input is still valuable. Make connections with other women attorneys. And do not be afraid to ask for help or advice.”
