Nina Roket and Yael Mandel Represent Kushner Cos. in Sale of SoHo Low-Rise
Crain’s New York Business (subscription required) reported on the sale by Olshan client Kushner Cos. of a mixed-use building in SoHo at 156 Sullivan St. for $12 million to a limited liability company affiliated with Midtown Manhattan-based Building Equity Management. Consisting of 22 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 2,859 square feet of ground-floor retail space, the six-story property has among its tenants the hair salon firm Salon Musa and the Brazilian bakery Brigadeiro. Built in 1904, the property is located within the 157-building Sullivan-Thompson Historic District, a stretch of SoHo located between West Houston and Watts streets that was designated in 2016 a historic district by the city Landmarks Preservation Commission.
