The New York Real Estate Journal published an article by Real Estate Law group partner Thomas Kearns entitled "May A Sponsor Intentionally Delay A Condo Unit Closing?” The article discusses a recent New York Supreme opinion that a sponsor may be liable for damages for an intentional breach of a new construction condominium purchase agreement by failing to diligently pursue completion and closing of a unit although damages may be limited.
