• Represented Atlas Capital Group in its acquisition of The Denizen in Brooklyn from All Year Holdings for $506 million, which was a complex transaction requiring consent of several tiers of lenders and was subject to bankruptcy court approval.
• Assisted the owner of property leased to Amazon in Seattle, WA in securing a $235 million mortgage loan and a $33 million mezzanine loan from Citibank, N.A. on such property while also effecting a reorganization of the owner into two tenants-in-common.
• Negotiated purchase and sale agreements for a client selling a portfolio of mixed-use properties located in Greenwich Village.
• Represented the owner of a property leased to one of the major technology companies in the California tech corridor in refinancing a $215 million mortgage loan and a $30 million mezzanine loan from Natixis for such property.
• Effectuated the acquisitions of an interest in certain entities owning real estate, which included dissolution of the entities selling such interests, creation and conversions of certain other entities involved, and assigning the membership interests.
• Represented Bailey Acquisitions, a subsidiary of JEMB Realty Corporation focused on pursuing strategic opportunities in major U.S. markets, in securing an acquisition loan from AIG in connection with its acquisition of Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach in Clearwater, Florida.
