Shifra Ben-Jacob focuses her practice on various shareholder activist engagements including proxy contests and corporate governance issues.
While earning her law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and serving as staff editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution, Shifra simultaneously earned an M.S. in Biomedical Ethics from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During law school, she worked as a legal intern at Global-Dining, Inc. of California, where she assisted in handling contracts, regulatory compliance, and general corporate and legal tasks. Shifra also worked as a paralegal/legal administrative assistant at global investment bank PJT Partners, where she prepared legal documents and conducted legal research. As an undergraduate at Brandeis University, from which she graduated magna cum laude, Shifra was a member of the Pre-Law Society and worked as an assistant paralegal at the Waltham District Court.
Shifra was a 2023 summer associate at Olshan before joining the firm full-time.
