Andrew Lustigman was interviewed on Arise News’ program "AriseReview,” an hour-long public affairs show airing in Europe, Africa and in D.C. on the MHZ network. In the interview, which begins at the 52:00 minute mark, Lustigman explains the origin of the case and points out that forcing search engines to de-link is straightforward in issues of copyright infringement or offensive material, but these requests will be more challenging for Google to take on when coming from the general public. He explains that while there is no comparative law in the United States, the decision will strengthen the EU’s right to be forgotten, and other countries could follow the EU’s example.
