Andrew Lustigman to Chair ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law: Committee 463 - Special Committee On Promotion and Marketing Law. The scope of the American Bar Association Special Committee On Promotion and Marketing Law is to monitor, consider, report on and make recommendations concerning all issues relating to promotions and marketing law. The Committee will be focusing on recent developments in: (a) promotions -- sweepstakes, contests, and similar promotions law matters; (b) advertising -- clearance, substantiation, and direct marketing advertising laws; and (c) advertising and new technologies. The committee will have monthly calls to discuss and organize new developments. The first call will be February 19, 2009 at 3 pm EST.
